Baby Eli Comes to Visit...

Over Spring Break I managed to finish some canvases for a friend of mine who had a baby back in February! I told her I wanted to do this for her and just now found enough time to start and finish them! I am so happy I finally finished them because I felt terrible for how long it took me to do them! It was also a great excuse for them to come and see us! Lesley and Eli came to visit today and to pick up the canvases! I think she really liked them! I was kind of sad to see them go because I really liked them as well! Eli is too freaking cute! He looks just like his momma! I miss such a small baby! Cash won't exactly let you "hold" him anymore! He is too busy for me. Only when he is tired does he want me to hold him!

Isn't he so cute? I think so! I am so glad I got to see them. I met Lesley while helping throw Kelly's bridal shower. Kelly and Lesley are friends and used to be roommates/sorority sisters! I am so glad I met Lesley! Kelly came by today to see Eli too! It was so much fun seeing everyone!

Here Comes Peter Cottontail.....

....hopping down the bunny trail, hippity hop hop Easter is on its way! We went to get Cash's picture taken with the Easter bunny, which went way better than Santa! He, at first, was very unsure, but then the Easter bunny gave Cash a high five and then they were friends! He even cried when we left the bunny! Then they gave him these ears to wear and he was happy again! I can't wait for Easter because he will actually be able to dye and hunt eggs this year!

Spring Break

We have had such a busy week! We got to do a lot of different activities because my in-laws and friends were out of school to help me with all 3 kiddos.

Monday, day 1 of spring break, we didn't really do anything. We just hung out around the house and rested.

Day 2- Zoo Day. Tuesday, Carol and Dennis came down to visit and we took Cash, Jacob, and Noah to the Little Rock Zoo. We got there at 11:30 and left at 3:30! I can't believe how long we got to stay. Nobody had naps and everyone acted really good! We had so much fun seeing all the animals! I can't wait for the penguin exhibit to open next fall!

Day 3- JumpZone. Wednesday Megan and Emilee met Cash, Jacob, Noah, and me at JumpZone in Maumelle! At first Noah and Cash cried because it was so overwhelming. Then they got the hang of it and had a BLAST!!!

He would go up the boat by himself and then I would slide down with him. He would have gone alone but I was too scared, those slides were very steep....

Day3- The Church at Rock Creek play area. Thursday, Megan, Emilee, Cash, Jacob, Noah, and I went to the Church at Rock Creek to play! We had a good time but it was so crowded and its not that big of a play area, so we left and went to Chick-fil-a to eat and let the kids play there....

I was thinking about going to back to JumpZone but I don't think I can handle it all by myself! We might just stay home and rest! However, this is what Cash is up to already this morning....

We have had a fun filled week! I hope everyone has enjoyed their spring break!

Weekend at Nana's

This weekend Mom, Cash, and I went to Durant, Ok to see my Nana and Aunt Rhonda! We had such a great time visiting with everyone! We got to town Friday night around 10:30p.m. and went straight to Taco Casa. Oh how I wish they would have Taco Casa in Little Rock! It is soooooo yummy! I ate there once each day we were there, which equals 3 times! I can't get enough! On Saturday my sister, Leigha, and niece, Lindsey, came to see us. They live about 1 1/2 hours away, so it was nice to see them and Lindsey really enjoyed playing with Cash. Also, my Uncle Tony and Kathy came Saturday and all of my cousins! The house was packed and I managed to take 0 pictures! I was so mad when I realized I have no pictures of all of them together. Anyways, they were calling for winter weather and you can see below that we got some! It was sooooooo cold Saturday and Sunday. Some more of my cousins came by Sunday and brought their foster child by to play with Cash. She is almost two and her name was Shaneqa. She was so cute! When we left we thought Cash would sleep most of the way home and he, of course, didn't. However, on the way home we pass through Paris, TX which is where we used to live before moving to Arkansas. So I had to go by our old house, my old daycare/private kindergarten, Lollypop Kids Stop, and Braum's! We drove through snow until we reached the Arkansas border, so it took us a while to get home, but we finally made it! We loved seeing all of our family and can't wait to see all of you again!!

Cash's First Trip to the Dentist

Back in November Cash won the KARK 4 News Halloween Costume Contest. One of the prizes was a free dental exam from Bevan's Pediatric Dentistry. I thought, now that Cash has most of his teeth, this would be a perfect time to use my free visit! So today, Cash got his very first dental exam! It was not a very pleasant experience though! We got there and checked in and while we were waiting to see the dentist, Cash threw his sippy cup across the waiting room, which has ceramic tile, the lid flew off and a whole cup of milk went everywhere!!!! I was mortified! I went to the bathroom, got a ton of paper towels, and got down on my hands and knees to clean up the mess my child had made! Finally, we got called back and after waiting for a little while and missing his nap he just cried the whole time! I was hoping to get some pictures of the dentist looking at his teeth but that didn't happen! I did, however, get a good report on his teeth! She said they looked great! Just keep up the good work and start flossing once I see his teeth touching one another! I dread that day!! Needless to say, he was asleep before we left the parking lot! Poor baby! He was so tired!
