Your First Halloween

Cash, Cash, oh how time is flying by, your Daddy thinks you will never forgive me for your costume on your first Halloween. Before to long you will want to be scary things so I am trying to get in on the cute stuff now! This was your first Halloween and you also turned 10 months old today! I can't believe it, in 2 months you will be one year old! You are pretty much doing everything...walking(8 steps is the most so far), talking(baby gibberish), crawling, eating all table food, on and on....You were the CUTEST peacock I have ever seen and hopefully next week we will hear the results of your Halloween Costume Contest at KARK 4 News! Today we hung out around the house and took naps, cleaned, and got ready for what we would do tonight! We decided to go out to your grandparents house to pass out candy and eat dinner. But before we went, your friend Elliott stopped by to see you! Her mommy, Ashley, and I wanted some pictures of you guys together for your first Halloween. She was so cute, dressed in her little Halloween tutu! She loved touching you and looking at you in your bright outfit! I hope you had a great first Halloween, even though you probably won't remember it, and I look forward to Thanksgiving, Christmas, and your First Birthday coming up! I love the holidays and all the family time. It is quickly approaching and I am so excited!

His little tail is so cute...

We thought he was trying to fly...

Excuse me, let me move my feathers so I can hear you better....

Then, of course, we had to break out the Halloween PJ's....

Ashley, Toby, and Elliott went to a Halloween party and sent me some pictures of Elliott that I could resist putting up. Look at how freaking cute she is....

I hope everyone had a great Halloween!

H1N1 Clinic at Rock Creek

Oh my goodness......I just got home from standing in line for 4 hours at Rock Creek Church to get Cash vaccinated!!!!!!!! Yes, in the rain! I called Rock Creek and the ADH, they both said it was a drive-thru and walk-in clinic! So I prepared for a drive-thru clinic. I dressed Cash in a pajama set that was shorts so they could poke him the leg and I could drive off. Well, you know that was too good to be true, it was walk-in only for children! So, in the rain, I took Cash, Jacob, and Noah to get them shots. Yes, Cash was still in his shorts! I covered him up in a blanket and I had a hoodie to put on him too! Angi came to help me half way through, but the twins just couldn't hang in for the 4 hour wait, which I can't blame them! I was barely making it myself. Since I didn't think we would be there too long, I didn't bring diapers or bottles. Yep, you guessed it, Cash started leaking out of his diaper when we were about to get to the shot area! Luckily, a really nice mother in line, gave me a diaper! We also made some friends during our wait! Finally, the wait was worth it, Cash got the 1st round of his H1N1 shot, he will be administered the 2nd round in 28 days! Thank you Jesus for letting him be that much more protected! Here are some pictures of our adventure today!

Us outside waiting in line

The first part of the line, it wrapped all the way around the building

Having a snack

This was one of the people we made friends with while waiting. He put that mask on and asked if he could play doctor with Cash! It was soooo cute. He said "Ok, where do you want me to start?" I said, "At his toes." He said he was missing his two pinky toes but he had a replacement for them in his pocket and so he put them on Cash feet with stiches! It was too freaking adorable!

Here he is attaching Cash's "missing" pinky toes!

The shot

Well, I got there at 8:21 a.m., we left at 12:27 p.m.. What a morning! At least he is half way to being protected! Hopefully we will not have to wait in a line like that again. The ADH and CDC says they area catching up with the demand so thats promising!

Flu Shot...Round Two...

Today we had to go to the doctors office to get his booster shot for seasonal flu. I am trying so hard to be proactive instead of reactive towards the whole H1N1, so Angi gave me some cute little pediatric masks to keep him protected and he wore one today. He really did great at keeping it on and didn't fight much to take it off! All the other parents were looking at me but I was just hoping they thought my child was sick and wanted to stay away from him!

He is cute even with this mask on!

This was the first time I had to hold him down for shots and he did really great! He cried for a second and then stopped! I was so proud of my big boy!

The Cutest Peacock on the Block....

After the Pumpkin Patch we went to Boo at the Zoo. I was so excited to get him dresses up for his first Halloween! He was a little young for this too but we still had a great time. We even entered him into a costume contest! We missed his age group so we put him in the wrong category, but he still won 3rd...
the back or his tailfeathers....

Him winning 3rd place. He won a zoo pass and a stuffed baby platypus...

We had a great time, oh how I love my baby peacock! He got everyones attention, even little kids were like "mommy, look at the baby peacock!" It was too cute!

Cash's First Pumpkin Patch Trip

Today we went to the pumpkin patch for Cash's first visit! He was really a little too young to enjoy all they had to offer but we still had a good time taking pictures! We went with Craigan's parents, Megan, Rick, Emilee, Kim, Brandon, Hayden, Kims Mom, Rachael, Janson, and Victoria. Cash really loved the big pumpkins.....
However, he was not sure about this pig......

We stopped for a snack.....

Here are some more pumpkin pictures.....

He looks like he is using the bathroom here...

Tuesday at the Mall

Cash and I went to the mall today to look around and then we ate lunch. I called my friend Christy to see what she was doing and her, her husband Zach, and little girl MaCarli were at the mall too! We met up and MaCarli just wanted to get as close to Cash as she could! She would not stop trying to kiss him, it was sooooooo cute!

Then we went downstairs to the food court to eat and the cow from Chick-Fil-A was down there talking to kids! He was so funny I just had to get a picture of him with Cash! I don't think Cash was too sure about the HUGE cow!

I couldn't resist! It was too cute!

Weekend in Harrison

This weekend we went to visit Craigan's grandparents in Harrison, AR, well really, Cash and I did, Craigan went with his Uncle Sam "hunting". They call it hunting, but I think all they really do is sit around drinking beer and playing card games in camo outfits! Anyways, I always love to let grandparents and great grandparents see Cash as much as possible! I always loved seeing mine and I want him to have that same feeling. We went up on Friday afternoon and we had a blast! Cash's great grandparents (Mama and Papaw) and Uncle Jimmy were so excited to see him, Craigan, and me! Craigan had a wing back style chair when he was a little boy and Carol had me pick out some fabric so she could have them recovered. Whenever we arrived, ours was sitting there, finished, and looked amazing.... Once we checked out the chair and got everything unpacked, Mary and Jordan (Cash's Great Aunt and Cousin) came over to see him. We played all night....

Jordan's Hat

Then we took a bath and played some more....

Cash and Mary

Then we went night night, at 10:00 p.m.! It was late but he slept pretty much all night! We got up Saturday morning, ate breakfast, and got ready to go shopping. Before we left, Cash's Great Great Aunt Carolyn stopped by with a sweet book for Cash...
Yum Yum, everything goes to the mouth

Cash stayed with Mama, Papaw, Jimmy and Jordan while Mary, Tori, and I went shopping. We went to some great little shops and I found myself a couple of things. I can't believe I actually bought myself something instead of Cash! Don't worry though, Cash got all kinds of things too! We went to a kid's store called Guys and Dolls where Mary and Tori bought him an adorable coat, hat and Little Giraffe security blanket. We had them all wrapped to see if he could figure out how to unwrap a gift.... Tori and Cash

What was in the gifts are probably the cutest things you've ever seen so get ready for this, ok?......

This was the most adorable picture of all times I think! I already had the glasses, doesn't he resemble Tom Cruise in "Top Gun"? I think so! Then, while we were out shopping Sammy, Papaw's sister, came by and dropped off a gift for Cash too....
Unfortunately, the overalls weren't long enough and the shoes were 1 size too small :( , we went to exchange them for the next size but they were out of stock! So we found something else equally as cute....This is the security blankie from Tori.....
I love Little Giraffe stuff

They also happened to get some great pictures while we were out shopping....

Apparently, Cash really took up to Jordan! They said he just loved playing with him and that Jordan was actually the one to get him to sleep for his nap as you can see! How sweet! We got up this morning, ate breakfast, and laid around! Mary, Jordan, and Tori came over again and Sam and Craigan came in from "hunting". Cash ate eggs for the first time and he liked them...

Shove them in...

Then we went for a little walk....

Afterwards, Cash decided to play ball with Jimmy and he is actually throwing it now....

Then, he helped himself to some Christmas paper....

We skipped our morning nap so that he would sleep all the way home, but he couldn't last...He passed out on Mary!

Then it was time for us to go after he woke up and ate a good lunch....

It was so sad to leave! I love being around family but I hate to leave! We had such a great time and we appreciate all you guys did for us while we were there! We will come back soon! Hope everyone has a great week!
