Memorial Day Weekend

This weekend we really didn't do too much! Just went out to LaLa & Pop's house, played, and enjoyed our 3 day weekend! Oh, by the way Cash is totally obsessed with sunglasses now and has to be wearing a pair at all times! I.E. this next picture....

This was our daily trip to Target! They had the balls covered in beach ball things, it was to cute...

And of course more sunglasses...

Cash's Last Day of School

The Big Birthday Weekend

Holy Cow, what a weekend!! Our family has three birthdays to celebrate in one week every year and wow does it make for a busy weekend/week!! We have cousin Max's birthday on May 7 and then on May 11th we have Daddy's and one of my best friends Ashley's little girl, Elliott!! So of course, the kids birthday parties are always the same weekend! So we started out at Elliott's and she had a Minnie Mouse party that was so stinking cute! Not to mention, how obsessed Cash is with everything Mickey!!

Baseball and Pizza

Tonight Mom, Cash, and I went to the Travs game! We had so much fun, even though I was terrified of Cash getting hit by a ball! Luckily, he didn't but he did get a hot dog and corn dog while we were there! Along with a bouncy ball out of a machine that he was dying for!! He's in live with balls, gum balls, pretty much anything out of a machine! Ha!

After a couple of innings, Cash kind of got bored so we left and went to US Pizza, yummmm....

Happy Easter

Happy Easter!!!! This weekend we went to Harrison to see Craigan's side of the family for the Easter holiday! Of course it was storming and pouring rain as soon as we got there and that was the forecast for the whole weekend! It never fails! There were tornado warnings and flood warnings, luckily our bed was in his Aunt and Uncles basement, better known as Auntie Tori's room! So I felt pretty safe sleeping down there! Everyone was so excited to see Cash and we had a wonderful dinner at Mamas house!

Cash just had to carry my purse...

Once we got over to Mary and Sam's house, Cash was very excited to see Auntie Mary and Tori! We visited, in between the storm warnings breaking in on tv, and Auntie Tori had feathers in her hair that we had to let Cash try on.....

Pretty cute, huh???....

Then, of course, Cash found Auntie Mary's new wedge Toms and thought he should give them a spin.....ha...the funniest part, they almost fit!

He could walk pretty good in them too....

After all the rain from Friday night, Saturday morning, and Saturday afternoon, we decided to take Cash to the city mall where there is slide and a train to ride, and of course a store that we love for little Cashy! On the way, this is the wonderful gift that the storms brought us....

So we took a different route! Then we went back home and ate a dreamy meal of Creamy Tacos, thanks to Mary!!! Afterwards, Tori and I sat in the big comfy chair and watched You Tube videos and watched it storm some more....

Before we knew it, it was time for bed because the Easter bunny needed come pay a visit to Cash...

Candy galore....Cash's dream come true....

These are all of our favorites...thank you to the person who created Reeses Peanut Butter Eggs....

Once we were done opening the Easter basket, we went over to Mamas house and had a spaghetti lunch and, again, watched it storm! I think they got around 7 in. of rain total this weekend!!! Cash loved Papaws cane and used it more than Papaw got too!

I wanted a family Easter picture so bad and it, literally, stopped raining for 1 minute and we ran outside and snapped this picture...oh and don't worry....it started raining again before we could walk back in the house!

We went back in and visited for a while and noticed that were tornado warnings all along our route home!! Uggghhh!!! So we kind of waited for the storms to pass over the main highway and then decided to take off! We weren't 10 miles out of Harrison and this was Cash....

Cash's First Easter Party

Today was Cash's very first Easter party at his preschool! Being the room mom for his class, I was responsible for the decor and activities! We had so much fun!!

Then we hid eggs in the room across the hall and let the kids go hunt eggs stuffed full of candy!! Cash did pretty good, he gathered a ton of eggs!

Cash's First School Program

Tonight was Cash's first school program! We had such a good time! Cash, on the other hand, was not as excited! He cried the whole time before the program and until we dropped him off in his classroom! I knew he would stop and have fun though! And I was right....

Cash's Surgery Day, well, Week!

On Monday, March 21st, we took Cash to ACH for a minor surgery, but to me it was pretty major because it was the first time he would have an I.V. with anesthesia. I think I was more scared than Cash! Kids are so awesome! Anyways , they called our name and took us back to the pre-op room and then gave him some "goofy juice"! This part was kind of funny, it made him feel pretty drunk....

The doctors said it would be a 90 minute surgery and I will tell you, I thought I would never make it that long without knowing he was ok. Luckily, the nurse would call the waiting room and give me updates about every 20 minutes or so and then after about 60 minutes, the doctor came out and said thy were already done! Those words were music to my ears! They said it went perfectly and that we could go see him in recovery! We went back to see him and he was doing so good, just sitting their in the hospital bed like a big boy, not even crying! Then they moved him to an actual recovery room and that's when he really started waking up or freaking out, whatever you choose to call it! We finally got him calmed down and got sent home.

Once we got home, Auntie Tori had sent Cash a get well soon present.....another Little Giraffe blankie, he was so excited!

And then Mama read Cash some books...

Then, Tuesday morning he wakes up with a 102.7 temp!!! This really scared me with his seizures and all so I took him into the doctor and everything checked out fine! Well a couple of hours later, around 1:30 p.m., Cash had his third febrile seizure. We grab our lifeless baby off the bed jumped in the car and flew to ACH E.R.. Once there, they ran every test imaginable to determine what was causing the fever and if it was related to the surgery or something else. He also got an I.V., and some fluids, after they took blood and ran some other tests. Everything came back totally normal!!! So they said it's a fever virus that we will have to wait out! They last about 5-7 days!!! You can imagine my face as I was being told this!!! I just couldn't believe this! What terrible timing, the day after his surgery!

Finally he fell asleep....I must add the best part of the day....as we were getting ready to leave and the nurse was about to take out his I.V., he holds up his arm and says, " look mommy, I chargen!", he says this because he likes plug my phone up to charge and I guess thats what it reminded him of! We all starting crying we were laughing so hard!!!

So after 8 hrs in the E.R., we went home and went to bed! Around 1:30 a.m., he had a fourth, very mild, febrile seizure. We called 911 but he seemed to recover from this one quickly and we had been in the er all day and got no answers, so we decided to keep him home. So then, Thursday night, I was about to give him a bath, still running fever, and noticed a white covering all over the back of his throat! I just knew we finally had an answer, Strep! We loaded up and to the E.R. we went, I just knew we would get some antibiotics and be on the road to recovery! Well, not so fast, apparently the worst throat are due to viral infections, which, can't be treated!!!! So again, they say, just wait it out!! I was about to pull my hair out!! I just want my baby to be well and seizure free!!! I didn't know how much more he or I could take! I felt so helpless and defeated! So we went home...

After a dose of Tylenol....

Friday, he still had a little fever but did pretty well all day Friday! So, Saturday rolls around and we, FINALLY, were fever free!!!! The saying, God won't give you more than you can handle, must be true! Thank you Jesus for answering my prayers!!!

Weekend in Russellville

This weekend, my friend Lindsey who lives in Pittsburgh now, came into town (russellville) to visit with her family and friends so we went to Russellville to visit too!! Cash had talked about Russellville all week and was very excited to go see Sydney and Ella....

When we got into town we met up with Lindsey, Holly, Anna, Kristen, Lauren, and Ella and went to eat sushi! It was so yummy! Then we went back to Lindsey's moms house and let the kiddies play! Cash and Ella love taking baths together so of course we let them...

Saturday morning we woke up and Cash just couldn't wait to hold Sydney.....

She's much bigger now compared to when we went to Pittsburgh, but he thinks he should still be able to hold her! Instead, she sat up beside him and he was ok with that!

Then Sydney decided the cat, Jelly, would work well as a pillow...

Later Saturday night we went to Lauren's house to let Cash and Ella play and to eat dinner! Ella and Cash went back to Ella's room and they were being too quiet so I went back to check on them and this is what I found....

Oh, Lord....this is way too early...

But, also, way too funny....

This was the sunset tonight, before the "super moon"...

On Sunday, we just played outside all day since it was so pretty! The kids needed their sunglasses....

To end the trip we took them to the park for a little bit and they had a great time....

We had such a great visit, we would really love to move back to Russellville some day! Anyways, back to Little Rock we went and then Cash has his surgery tomorrow. Please keep all of us, especially him, in your prayers!

...To the races that is! This weekend we met our friends Holly, Wes, Chelsea, Chad, Adam, and Shelley at Oaklawn! Craigan's parents were in town so we let them watch Cash while we went for so much needed alone time! We had a blast and we won some money too! Cash had a great time playing with his cousin Max and his grandparents!

Surprises and Birthdays

This weekend we decided to surprise Nan, Pappy, and Mama in Alma for Nan's birthday! We knew that Mama was coming to visit this weekend and then we also realized that Nan's birthday was this next Tuesday, March 2. So we decided to pack up, go to Alma, and surprise them all! They were so excited to pull into the drive way and see us sitting there waiting on them to get home! We had a great visit and really enjoyed seeing everyone!

We went to the mall in Ft Smith, where Cash had to ride this " nellicopter" as he calls them....

Then we took him to the Mountainburg gym to play "backetball".....

Then to the dinosaur park, he wasn't too excited about the dinos....

But we all know he loves to slide....

I got him these cool miniature frogs and a air popper gun that shoots little styrofoam balls! He named the frogs Dennis and Nan, after his grandparents! Ha! He is so funny!

Well, we have snow!!! About 4 1/2-5 inches to be exact! We ran to Wal-Mart to grab a couple things, which I always make fun of but did it anyways, and by the time we came out this is what happened....

Once we left the store we headed home and to my surprise, the roads were already covered!!

And this was about 5 minutes later on our street....

Tube Day

Today, my little buddy had tubes put in his ears! Hopefully, by doing this, we will prevent those awful ear infections! We went in at 6:45 and checked in, Cash went in in good spirits! He was laughing and playing with his La La! They called our name and we went back to the pre-op room and that's when he realized he probably wasn't going to like what was happening. The Dr. came in and explained to us the exact procedure and how long it would take. This is the point I started crying. I just felt so bad but knew we were doing the right thing! Then the nurse came and took him from me kind of, without warning, I think she knew it was best for me and Cash! Of course, he totally lost it at that point, he was screaming my name and saying he wanted me! It literally took all I had not to run after that nurse and take him back, but again, I knew I was making the right choice by going through with the surgery. Craigan and I went to the waiting room, sat down, pulled out our phones to update everyone, and then there was the doctor! Literally, 5 minutes later, it was all over and he did wonderfully! Thank God!! I we went back to see him in recovery and he was still under anesthesia but starting to come out of it. I was holding him and rocking him, dying for him to open his eyes. And when he did, wow, he was not happy. He was swinging his fists, arching his back, and crying! Poor baby, this only lasted about 10-15 mins., and then, it was like nothing happened! By the time we got home he was totally fine! I am SO glad that's over!

Cash Turns Two!!!

Today my precious baby turns two!! I can't believe it! He has grown up too fast, it seems just like yesterday that I brought him home from the hospital! He is the most amazing two year old I could ever ask for! I hope you have the best birthday ever Cash and Mommy and Daddy love you more than you will ever know, well at least until you have children of your own!

We got Cash a Hog birthday cake and just let him have at it! He would stand up and take a bite out of the cake with his teeth instead of using a knife or fork! He was having a blast, getting covered in icing! The big party is tomorrow! I hope I can pull it off! I love you Cash and Happy Birthday!!

Tori Comes to Town

Well, Auntie Tori came into town today to help with preparation for Cash's birthday bash!! Can anyone believe my precious baby is going to be two tomorrow???? I sure can't! Oh, how time has flown! Anyways, we went shopping around, tied up some lose ends for the party, and then stopped by Copeland's to eat! Yummmm! Tori bought Cash this adorable hat and Lacoste shirt for Christmas so, of course, he had to wear it when she was visiting!!! He looked so cute, like a big two year old! I love this little boy so much! I can't wait for his party this weekend!

Happy birthday Auntie Toti!!! Today we celebrated Tori's 20th birthday! We had so much fun and ate a lot of cake! Yum! Then Katie Grace decided to stop by and pay us a visit! Cash is so obsessed with babies, so he just had to hold her even though she is as big as him almost! She really liked his passy too! Anyways, we had a wonderful visit in Harrison and now we are home and Cash is passed out!

Christmas 2010

Christmas this year was such a blast! Cash and Max were old enough to actually open gifts and have an expression or at least show some excitement about the gifts! We had Christmas with Craigan's Mom, Dad, Brother and Sister-in-law last weekend, my parent's on this past Thursday, and then we ended up in Harrison with Craigan's family on Christmas! We had such a great time eating, watching Cash open gifts, and spending time with our amazing families! Cash got SO much stuff, I think we are going to need a bigger house!

Cash's New "wide the wide"

Cash finally had his dreams come true! We got a swing set for him for Christmas/Birthday!! He tells everyone about his "wide the wide, in back ard"! He is so excited and plays on it non stop now!

Cash's 2nd Haircut

Before dropping Cash off at school today, I had to take advantage of a good photo op!!! He was in such a great mood!!!! He usually cries EVERY morning when I drop him off and it breaks my heart! I feel like he thinks I'm not coming back for him!! Not today!!!!! He didn't even whimper!!! It almost made me cry because he didn't cry....it just made me so happy!!!

How will I break this child of his passys??? I know how but look at this.....

Two at one time....really???? How can I take this from him?? I know I have to but it's the last "baby" thing he has! It's kind of my attachment to, I have to admit! Maybe one day.....

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!!!! Craigan, Cash, and I stayed the night at my parents house where my sister's family and Nana were visiting as well!! We woke up and had powdered donuts for breakfast, the breakfast of champions, then watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, napped, and then woke up to eat Thanksgiving Lunch!! It was delicious!! Then we headed over to Craigan's brother's house to have Thanksgiving dinner with our brother, sister-in-law, and Craigan's parents!! Cash and Max had a blast playing together and of course the adults stuffed themselves!!!

Cash's First School Party

Today is Cash's first Halloween party!!!! I am so excited because I am the "Room Mom", which means I am in charge of the organization and decoration for the party!! If you know me, you know this is right up my ally!! I was so excited to see it all come together and see Cash interact with his friends at school!!!

Cash Goes to Meet Easton

Today I took Cash to meet baby Easton! He is TOTALLY obsessed with babies ever since we went to PA to visit Lindsey and Sydney! So of course, he LOVED holding Easton! He would say, " I wanna hold it", he loves holding babies so much! Ashley asked him if he wanted a baby and he said yes! Then she asked him do you want Mommy and Daddy to have another baby? And he said no! Ha! No worries here, that probably won't happen for a little while! Anyways, we had a great visit with Easton and Ashley, even though Cash ate all of Ashley's cake that came of her hospital lunch tray! Ha!

We are so thankful that he is a beautiful and healthy baby despite the horror she was put through from about 6 months on in her pregnancy!! Cash Learns to Swing

Cash has been terrified of swinging until today when he figured out a way to swing on his own!!! Now I think he loves to swing just as much as he likes to "wide the wide" or ride the slide!!! Now he's constantly saying "I wanna wide the wide, wing" let me translate, he wants to ride the slide and swing!! I love his verbiage for things!! It totally cracks us up, some of the things he comes up with is just hilarious!!

The Great Pumpkins

Today, I decided, would be a perfect day to carve pumpkins! I have been really excited about doing this for the first time with Cash! I don't ever really remember carving pumpkins as a kid but I want to make this a Copeland family tradition, to carve pumpkins every year!!! I hope they get better and better as the years go by because these are probably going to be just so-so!! Ha! Hopefully they will turn out like I have them visioned in my head, simple but cute!!! Here we go......

21st Annual Rains Family Reunion

This last weekend was our annual family reunion on my Mom's side of the family! We had a great time, as we always do, and had a ton of great food and company! Cash had so much fun this year because he could run and play outside all day everyday as opposed to last year when he was crawling and taking just a few steps here and there!

My cousin, Kylie, has three kids and they all came this year. This picture is her youngest, Zhane, who is 16 months and he is trying to get Cash's passy!

Her middle child, Brody who is three, was in love with Cash! He was always trying to hug and love on him, it was so cute!!!

Cash's Official First Hair

Today Craigan and I took Cash to get his first haircut! Well, first official haircut since Craigan really gave him his first haircut when I left the house one day! We went to Pigtails and Crewcuts and got the First Haircut Package, they take his picture and give you a card with the lock of hair they cut off first, which we already have from Craigan's cut but that's besides the point I guess. He was fine at first but then when the lady tried to put a cape on him he did not like that too much! So he ended up having to sit in my lap while she cut his hair which worked fine! They gave him suckers and a prize and that really won them over for him! He looked so cute when he was done and I can't wait for his hair to grow longer!

Donuts and New Dogs

This morning we had to make a Krispy Kreme run and Cash LOVED his donut! The worker even gave him a free football donut! This afternoon I went to pick up a yorkie that was free on Craigslist! The family couldn't keep him anymore and my Mom has been dying for a new yorkie since her's died last year, so I called and got the puppy!! He is so sweet! His name is Reggie and I think he likes his new home! Cash and I took him to get groomed and while he was getting his bath, we went shopping for him and bought him a new collar, lesh, and some shirts!

Garage Sale

Today my friend, Ashley, and I decided to have a garage sale! She is about to have a new baby and they are moving into a new house! I, on the other hand, needed to get rid of a couple of items that have been lying around the house! We also thought it would be a good time to let Cash and Elliott play! Needless to say, they had a blast! Ashley had gone to Krispy Kreme and bought football donuts that Cash just had to have and made a HUGE mess out of! We had a great time and I made 45.00! Not bad, huh?

Veggie Tales Live

Today I took Cash, Jacob, and Noah to see Veggie Tales live! We got there early so we got great seats and they had awesome lighting so the kids really enjoyed watching these stars on the ceiling! We had just picked Cash up from school and so I wasn't sure if we would make it through or not....well we didn't! We had to leave at intermission, all three of them were losing it! Cash was fighting sleep and I think the boys were too! I think Cash needs to be a little older before we start taking him to this kind of stuff! I was hoping he would love it! We did have fun the first 30-40 minutes though!

Ashley's Baby Shower

Today was one of my best friends baby shower, which was thrown at my house! I love throwing showers and I thought Dr. Seuss would be such a cute idea! So I went to working painting and cutting out huge styrofoam characters, with a little help from Kim! Thanks Kim! I have to say it turned out wonderfully and everyone loved the theme! The Cat in the Hat welcomed everyone as they walked in...

Megan helped me make these party poms out of tissue paper and they sat in a bowl on my coffee table with candy dishes full of M&M'S on either side.....

This was my favor table. I made Thing 2 stickers since this is her second baby, and placed the stickers on a cellophane bag filled with blue cotton candy to mimic Thing 2's hair and the tied it off with red tulle. They turned out so cute!

Cash's First Day of School

The day has come, I started Cash in a two day a week pre-school program, and today is his first day! I am very emotional! Sad, then happy, then sad again! I was dreading dropping him off since I didn't know how he would react but I kept telling myself this is what is best for him and he needs this! We got all dressed, gathered his backpack, and took some pictures before we left.

I love this one....

I did great as I was taking him and as I took him to his room. He did wonderfully as well. The teacher took him from me and I hid so he couldn't see me just to ensure he wasn't going to lose it! HE NEVER DID!!! I was so sad, I felt like he didn't care that I had dropped him off but then again I was happy too because maybe this is what he wants, to have friends and go to school! I cried like a baby for about 15 minutes and then I realized that he was going to have so much fun and hopefully love school!

Finally, 11:30 came and I got to see my precious baby again. He did GREAT! They said he was the only kid in his class that didn't cry his first day! Way to go Cash! They said he had a GREAT day and was so sweet!

Cash's New Wagon

We finally got a wagon for Cash! I have been looking for a good deal on one and my Mom finally found it! This wagon is usually around 70.00 and she got this one on clearance for 35.00! Great Job! Cash absoultely loves it too!

So Sad....

Bye Bye Pittsburgh.....We had to leave today and I was sad to go! I think Lindsey was sad for us to go too! Cash got to hold Sydney one more time before we were off to the airport....

And me too....

Lindsey dropped us off and we were off to our first stop/lay over.....Chicago.....

On the plane again....

Coming into Chicago...one of the Great Lakes....Looks like an ocean huh?

And of course we had to buy a Chicago shirt!

Everything had been going smoothly until Chicago. When we were getting onto the plane I just had a weird feeling but I just got on anyways and told myself it's nothing just a little anxiety....Wow, was I wrong, always trust your instincts! After we backed away from the gate we sat and we sat and we sat some more...at this point I talking myself through this...ok its a busy airport, maybe there's a traffic jam on the runway.....nope so the pilot comes on and says, "Well just wanted to give you an update....uhhh...it looks like we have a hydraulic issue we will have to be pulled back in and have someone look at the problem and see if we need a new plane. The hydraulics is basically what operates everything on the plane so we will se if it's a quick fix or we need a new plane." WHAT!!???? I never wanted off a plane so bad in all my life....luckily we did get a new plane and off we went, back to Little Rock! Thank You God!!!

Happy Labor Day!

This morning we got up, had some coffee, sat around, and let the kids play! Ella loves Sydney's crib and so she has played in it and has taken a nap in it as well! Ha! She is so cute. Of course everything Ella does Cash wants to do so he had to join in too....

We got Sydney all dressed in her cute new owl outfit and we decided to go eat lunch at Red Robin!

Not before Ella and Cash wanted to play on the porch and have a waffle though....

We went and ate and the kids fell asleep on the way home, so while Cash was sleeping I slipped off the other mall! I was on a mission to find Steelers shirt's but all of them were so cheesy and I totally do not care for the team so I decided not to get anything. I did get Cash a cute shirt from 77 kids, which if you haven't....you need to check out, it's American Eagle for babies/toddlers/and teens! Afterwards, I had to get back so we could start our Labor Day celebrations! We had several of Lindsey's neighbors and new friends coming over to grill out! We and the kids had a blast!

Sunday in Pittsburgh...

We woke up this morning and had another waffle for breakfast to nourish us for the big shopping day ahead!

Then squeezed in a little play time with Sydney, Cash just loves her....

Cash has also developed a love for my coffee.....

Anyways, we all got ready and headed into Pittsburgh for a little lunch and shopping! We passed Heinz Stadium (Steelers) and PNC Park (Pirates), we saw all kinds of cool buildings and managed to get a little lost on the way back home!

Good Morning From Pittsburgh

We woke up this morning and Cash threw up all over the floor and the last thing he ate was chicken and ketchup so you can only imagine...I have come to the conclusion that if he coughs or cries hard enough he pukes! Afterwards, he wanted a waffle for breakfast....

The weather is amazing here and I am enjoying every second of fall like weather! Today we just hung around Lindsey's house and went to Pier 1 to help Lindsey with some decor for her mantle! I love her neighborhood, the next door neighbors are all so amazing and all have kids at or around Cash's age! They also have an amazing slide that Cash and Ella found and have played on all day! Today has also been long awaited because it is the first Razorback game of the season!! We are so excited and Sydney was sporting her Razorback dress today!

Pittsburgh Here We Come

Today, Cash, Lauren, Ella, and I, left for Pittsburgh, PA at 8:35 a.m.. We flew out of Little Rock to Baltimore, MD and then to Pittsburgh, PA! The kids did wonderfully! Cash loved looking out if the window and seeing the cars driving on the streets below! He ate snacks, watched a little bit of a movie, colored and slept! For his first time flying he did so good!

He slept the last 45 minutes and then we had wake him up at the Baltimore airport....

Cash decided to have a melt down as we were boarding the plane from Baltimore to Pittsburgh because he wanted to walk, which really means he wanted to run all over the airport as we were trying to board! I am sure the other passengers were thinking, oh great this should be a fun flight with thus kid! Luckily, once we got to our seat he calmed down an acted great.... As long as we didn't take the bow away....

JumpZone and Designer Jeans

Today I took the boys to JumpZone to let them run and slide off some energy!! I know I have blogged about JumpZone several times but I wanted to show u the size of these slides because they are huge and Cash will do everything by himself! Look closely at the bottom right-hand side of the picture below, you will see my mom which is a 5' 6-7" tall woman! That will give you an idea of how huge these inflatables are!

After we left JumpZone, we stopped by our house to check the mail for Cash's first pair of designer jeans!!! A brown pair of True Religions! I wanted a pair for him months ago but Craigan said not until he's older and we get some wear out of them so now is the time!!! I am so excited because they are the cutest things I have ever seen and Craigan loves them on Cash!

Bye Bye Diaper Bag....

Hello big boy bag!!! It's finally done!!! Cashs owl backpack! I found something similar online and it was pretty pricey so I decided, ok I will just make one myself! My next thought, geez why didn't I just buy the one online??! But I wanted fabric that I chose and I wanted it to be larger. I cut out everything freehand, without any pattern and starting sewing! I was to the last two parts to be sewn and, of course, my machine's tension got all out of sorts! Tension blows my mind so I got 15 minutes from being done and couldn't finish!! I was so sad and frustrated! Luckly my friend, Kims, mom knows how to sew and she helped me finish the last two stitches!!! Oh I could kiss her, I am so excited IT IS FINISHED!!!! Thank you so much Deda!!!

Husbands....

First of all, let me say, I am obsessed with my childs beautiful curls! I was away from the house when I get a text from my husband that says, " I just gave Cash a haircut", I read it and immediately thought oh he just joking like always well I called him to have the reassurance that he was just joking but no, not this time! He REALLY did cut my childs hair for the first time when I wasn't there, took no pictures, and threw away his gorgeous locks! I made him dig them out of he trash and didn't talk to him pretty much the rest of the night! He cut the biggest curl out of the back of Cashs head!! Ughhhhhh..... Anyone know how to make hair grow faster???

You can't tell much from this picture, but there is a bare spot in hhe middle of his head....

It's Official...

Cash is enrolled in pre-school!!!
I know, those of you who know me personally can't believe it, but it has happened! He needs it for his development and to know there is more to life than me! It's really bittersweet, I am excited because I know it will be great for him but on the other hand I can't imagine dropping him off yet! He will be attending Asbury Christian Child Devlopment Center(ACCDC). He will start September 14th and will go Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30-11:30. He will have creative movement, music, art, chapel, and all kinds of classes! He is the youngest child in his pre-school class but that actually makes me happy, I would not want him to be the oldest! When we went today to take care of all the registration stuff he saw the playground and was so excited! I asked him if he was excited about starting school here and he shook his head yes! Hopefully he has a great experience!

Kim and I have been busy bee's working on Cash's birthday party/Ashley's baby shower decor! Thankfully I have help! This is a huge project and we have been working on these all week! Kim brought baby Harper to help too and Cash loved her! He would try to pick her up, give her hugs, and feed her cookies and ketchup! It was so adorable! I hope his party is amazing! I can't wait!

Funday Sunday

This is how our Sunday started out.....

Then we hung around the house, went to the mall, and then went to JumpZone......one of Cash's other favorite things in life! He totally LOVES this place and these slides are not small by any means! He does them all by himself! Take a look....

After JumpZone we went to Beef O Brady's to eat dinner and he decided he wanted to sit on top of the table to eat his nuggets and "ryes", as he calls them....

Our Week at the Lake

This past week we went to the Orsini's lake house on Lake Hamilton and had a blast! We left a week ago today and had my mom and dad, Craigan's parents, uncle, grandmother, my sister, brother-in-law and niece, and Craigan's brother and sister-in-law! What a crew! We pretty much did nothing all week which was nice. Cash wouldn't get near the lake water after we put him in one time. He just wanted to play in the sink or in the front yard so that there was no chance he would have to get in the lake! He does fine at pools, I think he just didn't like not seeing into the water. One night we went to ride go-karts and play putt-putt which was a lot of fun. We had a game of washers set up, played cards, played Wii, and ate the rest of the week! One other thing, Cash started saying his first 4 word sentance on a regular basis last week, which is," I don't want it!" I am really glad he is using all of the correct verbage!

Storytime Live

Today I took Jacob and Noah to see Nick Jr's Storytime Live at Robinson! We had such a great time once we found parking! It was terrible, we drove around for 30 minutes trying to find a parking spot so finally I decided to make my own parking spot and good thing I did because we almost missed Ni-Hao Kai Lan, which is their favorite! We did get to see her for a while though and they LOVED it! In all we got to see Kai Lan, Wonder Pets, Dora, and Backyardigans. They really did a great job!

I made this canvas today for my friend, Lindsey's, sister Kristen. The bedding fabric is below the canvas if you can see it. I still have to do another one for her little girl that is on the way, hence the girly fabric, the children will be sharing the room so I am trying to make it work for a boy and a girl! I think it turned out great, better than I expected actually!

Getting in a Little Free Zoo Action!

A while back Craigan played in a golf tournament where he won a family zoo membership which I was so excited about! We will be living in the zoo this fall! It's Cash's dream location! He is outside, around water, around animals, and there is ketchup.....you will see what I mean....So we used our membership for the first time today! We had a blast too! It was totally not busy at all! We road the train and everything! We ate at Cafe Africa where Cash was actually good and ate!!! We had to leave with a stuffed penguin, since that is Cash's favorite animal! We are also so excited about the penguin exhibit coming in September!!!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!! We woke up this morning and got dressed, which I was so excited about because I couldn't wait for Cash to wear his shirt I made him!! We played for a while, then took a nap, and then went to the Alma Aquatic Park, where we had a blast! Cash kept wanting to go down the huge slides but he wasn't tall enough! We swam for a while and then it was time for us to pack up and go home after a funfilled weekend!

4th of July Eve

This morning we got up and it was cloudy and sprinkling! We were so bummed, we had big pool plans! Oh well maybe tomorrow! Cash played his version of washers for a while then he decided he wanted to run around naked and play in the rain! Don't worry... There was no thunder or lightening just rain! They did put on a fireworks show in Alma tonight that we could see from the front yard, Cash of course, didn't make it! He was sound asleep, even with all the loud fireworks!!!
